Welcome to my Chinese Mandarin teaching blog.
I am a native Chinese speaker, and I love to teach Chinese Mandarin language and Chinese culture. It is my passion and interest! I am a dedicated teacher in both Chinese language teaching and Tai Chi and Qi Gong, the soft form of martial arts practices.
I was born in northern China, the city of Xi’an, I had my university education in both China and UK, and worked in both countries over 20 years. Now I am settled in Edgware as a Chinese teacher. Although I enjoyed my previous work fields of finance and IT management, I found teaching Chinese as a hobby is no longer enough for me. I changed my career direction to this one. I quit my job and focus completely on teaching. I plan to spend the rest of my working life teaching Chinese – on its language and culture.
I try to make teaching lively. I strive to have a good bonding with my students. My students are very inquisitive, engaging, and wonderful people to teach to. Teaching fits my personality. For me, Chinese has to be the most intriguing language in the world. I hope I can deliver deeper insights based on those wonderful years of life experience.
